Guerrero

This project is an evolving photo series that explores my Mexican heritage through a dialogue between family archives and contemporary photographs. The work begins with images of my grandfather in my grandparents’ home in Winton, California an agricultural town where my family first planted roots after immigrating from Mexico. Through revisiting these spaces and reimagining family memory, Guerrero seeks to trace the lineage of migration, identity, and belonging. As the series develops, I aim to expand its narrative, uncovering new connections between past and present within my family’s story
